VALORANT Episode Eight, Act Two is coming to a close soon, but Patch 8.07 will fix a number of bugs, including some affecting the game’s newest agent, Clove.

While the patch consists almost entirely of bug fixes and minor quality of life improvements, Omen is receiving a significant buff to his ultimate ability in a single agent update. VALORANT Patch 8.07 goes live today, April 16. Here are the notes.
As of this patch, Omen can pick up the Spike and open and close doors while in their Shade form from their From the Shadows ultimate without having to cancel. For example, Omen can teleport to the boathouse on Ascent and use the level to open or close the Market door while in Shade form, and can choose whether to cancel or complete the teleport after doing so.
This opens the door (pun intended) for Omen to use a bunch of new tricks with their ultimate. Instead of breaking the doors down during an attack on Ascent, Omen can teleport past them and open the doors, giving the attacking party the option to close them in their post-plant. But is it enough to satisfy Omen fans?
