Hanging from the side of a skyscraper, I look down in fear. I know I'm going to fall.

FALLING OFF A CLIFF IN VR! (The Climb 2)

Even though I’m playing the new virtual reality game The Climb 2 ($29.99) for the Oculus Quest 2, the view is enough to make my heart pound. Which is a good thing, because the game is as much a workout as it is pure entertainment with all the moves you have to make.

The Climb 2 is not for those with a fear of heights. While the graphics aren’t super realistic, the fast-paced gameplay is enough to take your breath away, as levels have you jumping between moving elevators or climbing through mountainous crevasses. The scenery is breathtaking and enough to distract you from your pounding heart.

I am a rock scrambler in real life, and I was curious how virtual reality compares to life in the mountains. The answer is not so good if you want to simulate a realistic climbing process. The only movements are jumping, grabbing and swinging.
