Kai Cenat achieved gaming greatness today, beating Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree four days after its launch. It took the streamer a whopping 99 hours and 1,070 kills, but when he delivered the final blow, he let his “haters” know that he’s now a real gamer.

The majority of Cenat's marathon playthrough of the notoriously difficult Elden Ring DLC expansion was spent attempting to take down Radahn, the expansion's final boss. However, late on June 25th, he finally completed his task, nearly passing out on the ground as he did so, yelling, "Oh my god!"
After celebrating with friends who flooded the room following the boss kill, Cenat said that completing the DLC was an "eye-opener" and reaffirmed his love for gaming. "Now I understand why gaming is the way it is, bro," Cenat declared. He then went on to address those who doubted his ability to complete games, especially ones as difficult as Elden Ring. "We were sitting here gaming, what now? Now we're actually gaming… what now?"
Cenat beat the base game in mid-May ahead of the DLC's launch, completing it in 166 hours and racking up over 1,700 kills. He's also publicly defended the difficulty of Elden Ring and its DLC, telling people to "put your big boy pants on" and sit out the encounters, just like he did. "Really shit bro. Anything is possible. Anything is fucking possible," Cenat said. "This is what gaming is. No showering, no changing your underwear… I gotta go take a shower."
