Aim Assist generally works by snapping to your target when you aim in their general direction. This is because controller players don’t really have the benefit of a mouse to aim very precisely. Note, the important thing here is in comparison to a mouse. Remember, you still have to aim at them, otherwise it would be an aimbot.
The problem with the aim assist in The Finals though is that it automatically snaps a little too much towards the target. There are a few instances where you can see this.
