Don't expect Carrie Underwood to mince her words when she joins the American Idol judging panel next season.
Carrie Underwood replaces Katy Perry as American Idol judge
During a brief interview between songs performed today on ABC's GMA Summer Concert Series, Underwood was asked "what kind of judge" she'll be, hard, soft, something in between?
"I have a problem," she replied. "I can't lie. I think I'll be very honest, but hopefully I'll be very constructive and encouraging." When GMA's Sam Champion suggested that he couldn't imagine her being too hard on the contestants, Underwood seemed to agree, saying, "Oh no. Just ask my kids."
