Ever since Microsoft completed its $69 billion acquisition of major game publisher Activision Blizzard, the general gaming public has been wondering when Xbox will inevitably put the successful Call of Duty franchise on Game Pass.

While it seems unlikely at this point that CoD will become an Xbox exclusive, given the financial return of annual installments on PlayStation, offering new releases from the series on Game Pass could be a major milestone for the reportedly profitable subscription service.

But when will that happen?

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Microsoft is reportedly planning to launch the 2024 CoD title via Game Pass.
