For new Disney Dreamlight Valley players, gathering resources for quests can be a bit tedious (especially once you reach the Remembering Old Times quest for Minnie Mouse, which requires 200 clay). Thankfully, now that the DDLV community has grown, some longtime players who've already completed the main storyline are devoting their time to making gift houses for others to enjoy.

To find valleys with gift or resource houses, you'll need to be an active player in the Disney Dreamlight Valley community. This means joining a few Facebook groups and maybe a Discord or two.

The reason for this is that players who create gift or resource houses advertise on these social channels to let new players (or players who are simply looking for resources/extra coins by selling meals) know that they are ready to receive visitors.

You can also post a message yourself asking for a gift/resource house to visit or for spare resources from other players to complete your active missions.
