Inventory space is very limited in No Rest for the Wicked. With only a small amount of space in your pockets, it is imperative to have some storage space nearby.

Where to Get a Storage Chest in No Rest for the Wicked

Even after your first upgrade, which you get after defeating the first boss outside the central town of Sacrament, you only gain a few extra slots in just one of your inventory sections. And from washing up on shore to entering Sacrament, you're likely to find a lot of loot quickly.

There is a basic storage option available to all players once they reach Sacrament, but to gain even more storage space in No Rest for the Wicked, you'll need to explore the housing market.

After defeating the boss outside of Sacrament and meeting the townspeople, you’ll be summoned to the Rookery at the top of town, where both Roan and Watcher live. Roan will offer you a room, and the most valuable feature of that room is a communal chest with 40 item slots. If you’re playing co-op, you’ll have to share this chest, but if you’re playing solo, it’s all yours to store weapons and materials that you might need later.
