However, many have pointed out the misleading marketing that hides the film’s true theme. Moviegoers have taken to social media platforms to express their disappointment with It Ends With Us marketing.

Blake Lively has been quite active in promoting It Ends With Us, which hits theaters on August 9, 2024. She’s worn floral dresses to promote the film at several premieres. In a promotional video, the actress says, “Grab your friends, wear your floral dress, and go out and see the movie.” The clip sparked huge debate online about whether it was the right way to promote a film about domestic violence.
