The 12.11 patch update for Escape from Tarkov has finally been released. This means that a large number of players of the game will be returning to EFT to explore everything the update has to offer. This also means that you will be experiencing long Tarkov queue times. So, if you are one of those players who is experiencing long match times or the queue is stuck on a match and it takes forever, here is what you need to know.

The reason for the long match and queue times in Tarkov is the huge influx of players and the high server load. Since Battlestate did not release the official changelog at first, players were curious to discover the big changes themselves. This understandably caused a server overload that affects the queue times in Tarkov. The developers usually fix the issue as soon as possible.
For this reason, players are reporting very long queue times. Note: Battlestate games has tweeted about a similar issue before.
Just a reminder: don't select just one server from the launcher. This can lead to long match times. Select 3-4 servers or better use the "Auto" option #EscapefromTarkov
