For its 10th year of streaming Coachella, YouTube wants to offer even more to viewers (both free and Premium), such as artist interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and more.

Coachella on YouTube 2023

YouTube is once again set to broadcast both weekends of the popular music festival, which has been held at the Empire Polo Club since 1999. With the event set to stream for a 10th time in 2022, YouTube is looking to further encourage music lovers (and everyone else, really) to tune in.

In addition to the live performances, which you can watch on one of three simultaneous streams (as some performances take place at the same time), YouTube offers several extras. You can watch interviews with artists, check out some behind-the-scenes footage, enter sweepstakes via YouTube Shorts, or purchase exclusive merchandise with YouTube Shopping.

YouTube Premium members will also have access to six different pre-party streams during the event, along with other as-yet-unspecified perks. 88rising, Banda MS and Cordae will be joining them for the first weekend, while beabadoobee, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Omar Apollo will be hosting the second weekend. According to YouTube, these Premium-exclusive pre-parties will all take place on the artists' respective channels and will automatically link to their performances once they begin.
