YouTube today released a feature update that includes three dozen new features and changes. Some are small, but others are not only noticeable but also far more useful.

Topping the list of most exciting announced features is the new You Tab. This tab combines the old Library tab and the Account page, so all the information you want is in one place, even your watch history, downloaded videos, playlists and more. YouTube is also getting a new logo animation and a “glow up” for how things like social media links, subscribe buttons and other features work.

The revamped viewing features include new volume controls that let you choose Stable Volume, which keeps the audio in a video at the same level so there’s no jarring transition from low to high volume while you’re watching.

There are also new playback controls on the way. These include larger preview thumbnails when browsing a video, and the ability to drag to seek without losing your place in the video. You can lock the video to protect against accidental touches that could disrupt your viewing experience, and now you can press and hold the screen on any video to automatically increase your viewing speed by up to 2x.
