Nintendo today released an official launch trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ahead of its highly anticipated release.

Many may have felt the wait for the sequel to 2017’s Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been a long one, but today the wait is finally over as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom hits stores digitally and physically. Nintendo UK has released a new launch trailer to celebrate, showcasing some of the game’s mechanics and brief story clips that may look familiar to those who have been following the game.

Hyrule remains the center of the action, with Tears of the Kingdom using a map very similar to Breath of the Wild, only this time around it's even more vertical.

While Link will still be climbing mountains and exploring vast, open areas, he’ll also visit various islands that float in the air above the landscape. He’ll also be falling a lot, but in this case it’s more of a gravity-assisted journey than a death-defying leap.
